Bolian supplies polypropylene multifilament tower press filter cloth specifically designed for vertical filter presses to a subsidiary of aluminium company in China. The on-site filtration process involves working temperatures of around 60°C, with ultra-fine aluminum hydroxide as the filtration medium. The filter cloth is acid and alkali resistant and offers an average operational life of more than 50 days, effectively withstanding high-frequency and continuous operation.
In practice, the customer operates several fully automatic vertical filter presses to filter aluminum hydroxide. The solid output is the final ultra-fine aluminum hydroxide product, while the filtrate proceeds to the next production stage. Bolian’s filter cloth is precisely engineered to match the equipment and processing needs. However, the client experienced common filtration issues such as cloth elongation, cloudy filtrate, frayed cloth edges, and poor cake formation—all of which hindered efficiency and product quality.
To address these pain points, Bolian’s technical team visited the production site multiple times to gather first-hand insights and collaborated with the operations staff to develop targeted solutions. We applied heat-setting treatment to prevent cloth elongation, used ultrasonic cutting to eliminate frayed edges, and performed specialized surface treatment to improve filtrate clarity and cake formation.
